When a building is demolished, it no longer survives in stone but in stories, drawings, photographs, and personal recollections. My photographs function as such continuations: visual reincarnations of lost sites, created from the fragments left behind by time. The maquette becomes an instrument to materialize this mental collage; the photograph becomes the final scenography in which this new space comes alive.
My photoworks are available as archival pigment prints in limited editions directly from my studio. If a piece speaks to you, feel free to inquire. I am happy to send you a list of available work, prices and framing options.
Every two months, I send my Studio Notes with fragments of my process and early access to new editions. If my work speaks to you, you are warmly invited to join.
Commissioning my work
When a building disappears, more is lost than bricks and walls. Spaces carry stories, relationships and lived experience. Through collaborative model-making and photography, I create imagined memory spaces of places that are abandoned. By working together with the people connected to these places, the work offers a meaningful way to acknowledge loss, honour shared histories and give memory a place in the present and the future.
